B.Sc (N)
Age limit for Admission: A candidate should have completed 17 years & should not be more than 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
N.B: Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years incase of SC and ST candidates.
Sex: Should be female or male
Education Qualification:
- Should have passed Intermediate Examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subject or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing) examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examination, Telangana or any examination recognized as equivalent with science subjects.
- Should have secured not less than 45% of marks in optional of the Intermediate Examination or equivalent examination. In case of SC/ST candidate, it shall be not less than 40% of marks.
Duration of the Course: 4 years.
Medium of Instruction and Examination: English shall be the medium of Instruction and Examination.
Working Days in the Academic Year: Academic year shall consist of not less than 220 working days excluding vacation, university examination and public holidays.
Post Basic B.Sc (N)
Age limit for Admission: A candidate should have completed 21 years & should not be more than 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
N.B: Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years incase of SC and ST candidates.
Sex: Should be female
Education Qualification:
- Should have passed GNM from any institution recognized by INC and shall be registered nurse from state nursing council.
- Two years service as staff nurse in any institution as on or before the admission after registration with state nursing council.
Duration of the Course: 2 years.
Medium of Instruction and Examination: English shall be the medium of Instruction and Examination.
Working Days in the Academic Year: Academic year shall consist of not less than 220 working days excluding vacation, university examination and public holidays.
M.Sc (N)
Age limit for Admission: A candidate should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
N.B: Age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years incase of SC and ST candidates.
Sex: Should be female
Education Qualification:
- Should have passed B.Sc (N) examination from any recognized university.
- Should have secured not less than 55% of marks B.Sc (N) Examination or equivalent examination. In case of SC/ST candidate, it shall be not less than 50% of marks.
Duration of the Course: 2 years.
Medium of Instruction and Examination: English shall be the medium of Instruction and Examination.
Working Days in the Academic Year: Academic year shall consist of not less than 220 working days excluding vacation, university examination and public holidays.
